New Friends

I met some new people at the Summer Nightastic Event.  It was really fun to get out of the daily grind and meet some fresh faces.  I’d love to share a few with you!  First off, meet Jane.  Jane made this trip possible and for that I am grateful!  Jane, it was my pleasure to meet you!!  You’re job rocks the casbah and I have to say I’m a little jealous of the beautiful sites you get to experience everyday.  ; )

Next up, I give you Rose.  Rose was my Disney rep.  She carried my laptop with it’s obnoxiously bright pink case (Hey, don’t laugh.  It  didn’t get lost!), my heavy camera bag, and was ready at the drop of a pin to go on Space Mountain with me (even though we didn’t get the chance).  Rose, you rock!  What else can I say?

Next, I’d like to introduce you to a dad named Marc who is actually on the Disney Mom’s Panel!  He’s one of the six dads on the panel this year.  Before meeting Marc I hadn’t even heard about the Mom’s Panel.  It’s a place to go and ask any question you want about planning your vacation and get an answer.  Great idea, right?  That’s what I thought, too.  Meet Marc!

I also met Clay who is a Disney Parks Ambassador.  Clay represents Disney’s Cast members for the year.  He said his favorite part of his position as an ambassador is getting out and interacting in the community.  He’s a upbeat guy who clearly loves his job and shows it well!  Meet Clay!

I also met some of the local DJ’s here in Jax, T-Roy from 93.3 The Beat to be exact.  It’s always fun to meet other people from Jax who just happen to be at Disney at the same time.  Good times, good times.  By they way, T-Roy won a trophy for one of the top scores for the Buzz Cup Tournament.  Nicely done, Dude!

Next up, meet none other than the Funkidivagirl herself, Sherrelle Kirkland-Andrews.  We sat with Sherrelle and her lovely family for one of the dinners, too.  Sherrelle, I wish my kids weren’t going in three different directions and we could have chatted more.  It was a pleasure to meet you at any rate!

So there you have it, folks!  These are some of the lovely people I met on our trip.  Have I mentioned that I love meeting new people?  I do!  And now, I leave you with three of the greenest men I’ve ever met…ever!  You can see them in a theater near you now in Toy Story 3.
