Can I just say, I love babies?  I LOVE BABIES!!! Babies are always so cute and unpredictable.  And there’s nothing in the world like having your first baby.  If there were ever a way to have a redo in life, I would have to go back in time and re-experience becoming a parent for the first time.

Is it challenging?  Yes.  Painful?  That’s a given.  Do you lose more sleep than you retain because if you’re not waking up to feed the bebe, you’re waking up to watch the bebe sleep to make sure all is well and they are still breathing?  Yes.  Yes, you do.  There’s so many new things to learn about yourself, your spouse, and this new little life that has completely rocked your world and changed you forever.  I LOVE that about having your very first baby.  I know it’s SO cliche, but the rewards of experiencing first time parenting far out way any challenges you face in the beginning.  Children truly are a blessing and I adore the fact that I get to photograph these little blessings!

Especially this little nugget of love!  Meet Xander.

Xander is the first child for Candace and Chris and the first grandbaby on BOTH sides of the family!  He is one very loved little boy…and cute, I might add!  Those big blues eyes just melt my heart!

It was fun to do the shoot with Xander’s grandparents, too.  I had a great time with the Fly family (and extended family).  Xander, you are one blessed little boy to be in a wonderful family filled with so much love and laughter!
