While we were home on a visit this past October, we went out to my dad and step-mom’s place.  The kids LOVED being out on the farm and visiting Papa Cow and Nana!  It’s so peaceful at their place.

In the morning, we went out to the horses and the kids got to feed them carrots.  Dad showed us how real men start a fire, too. Haha!

The kids got to ride the tractor with Papa, too.  We also went over to the Jordan River and tried our hand at skipping rocks.  Key word “tried”.  We loved every minute of our time with Papa and Nana!  We all can’t wait until we  can go back for a visit.  Until then, Dad, keep on keeping on with your perfection of a farmer’s blow, your lighting of fires with a blow torch, and your working of the land.  I love you to pieces!!!
