We went home (Seattle) for a visit in late October/early November. It had been WAY too long between visits and that trip made my year!!! A good portion of my family had never even seen our youngest, Piper. Again, it was way too long between visits. Anywhoo, we not only got to visit family, but we were able to spend some long awaited time with some of our friends. I wish there was enough time to see all our friends, but at least we got to see some of them.
Some of our very closest friends are Jason and Shelly Lischke. We used to spend hours upon hours chilling with them and their brood. Although, when we lived there, their brood was kinda just starting out like us. Bailey and their oldest, Elsabet, are almost exactly 1 year apart. Bay loved getting to see her again.
We all loved spending time with some of our besties. The Lischkes hold a special place in our hearts that can never be replaced. True story.
Next, we got to spend time with our friends, the Hallstroms and the Powells. It was around the time of Halloween, so we all carved pumpkins at the Hallstroms.
Five years ago, Brandon and I were in Aaron and Heidi’s wedding and in this picture Heidi was about to pop their second baby out. My, how time flies when you’re having fun!
Kate was truly the hostess with the mostest! She made the yummiest desserts to go with our hot apple cider while we carved pumpkins!
It was the perfect fall evening shared with the closest of friends and family. Thank you, Tom and Kate, for the much needed get together!
Being that it was cold and my favorite season, Fall, we met up with my two favorite sisters in-law and their precious kiddies and we headed out to the pumpkin patch at Craven Farm in Snohomish, Washington. The kids LOVED seeing their cousins. We didn’t want the time to end!
We loved every minute we got to spend with friends and family on our trip! Every minute!!
